How to Prepare an Image for the Internet

Before you can upload a photo or an image you usually must reduce the size of the file. Images used for printing are much larger in file size than one would send over the internet.

72dpi is a good size to use for the internet. DPI stands for dots per inch. If you do not have a program to do this here is a free download. This program is very easy to use.
You can take all your images in one folder and make them web ready (optimize) or you can do

Update Of Sale of the Post

As many of you know we filed Chapter 7 to protect the 'Fair Market Value of the Property'. This allows us to use the Court to Sell the Post at todays Fair Market Value and get all financial obligations paid in full. Hopefully we will have enough left over to move on to another location. The Trustee of the Court is handling this and currently we have had our Creditor's Meeting at the Court. Now he will continue to market the property and handle the Sale of the Post. It is with sad regret that we have been forced to close our doors at Post 9981.

Comrades, Brothers, Sisters, Friends that continue the Cause in Supporting for our Veteran's.

It is with sad regret that we have been forced to close our doors at Post 9981. We have filed Chapter 7 to protect the Equity in the Post. This will pay all obligations that are owed and have been owed for a number of years. Hopefully we will walk away with enough Proceeds left to re-establish our Post Operations in another location. Jason's 'Celebration of Life'

As you know we have lost our Senior Vice Commander. He was a Warrior and best Friend. He is at Peace with God. We will miss him. To young to leave us at 37 years old, but life is short and too short for some. The 'Celebration of Life' will be Sunday the 20th at 12:00 Noon. Potluck to follow. Join us and pay your respects to our Marine Brother & Friend.

I appreciate your comments. We have a interested buyer for the Post. Am Vets Post 49 want to move forward with a offer. We will then move to a new location once the debts are taken care of. I wanted to let you know that I grew up in Evart, Michigan and came up to Alaska in 1980 to work for ARCO. Love it up here with all that Alaska has to offer. Again, thanks for you concern.
