- What is your interest in VFW Post 9981?
- I have been surrounded by heroes all my life. My dad was a World War II pilot, my brother flew in Viet Nam, my daughter's farther was a Viet Nam helicopter pilot, and my husband. Ken Jones just released his book "When Our Troops Come Home" that talks about support for our returning warriors. It is about coming home knowing they are loved and appreciated. I am grateful to be a part and I have learned much from the book, and friends at the VFW.
I am a photographer, artist, and web designer. I offer this site with much gratitude and thanks.

It is with sad regret that we have been forced to close our doors at Post 9981. We have filed Chapter 7 to protect the Equity in the Post. This will pay all obligations that are owed and have been owed for a number of years. Hopefully we will walk away with enough Proceeds left to re-establish our Post Operations in another location.
